Please join us for the very first Milonga Nueva on Friday, September 3rd! We’ve been busily preparing a uniquely fun night…
Nueva will regularly feature:
• A rotating schedule of great DJs from NYC, New England and afar
• Chacareras at the end of the night (periodic intro class before the milonga)
• A funny little egg logo that likes to dress up as our DJ of the month
For our inaugural milonga this month, your DJ will be none other than Milton “El Gallo” – expect all your Golden Age favorites, plus some really danceable nuevo/alternative.
Remember, we think a milonga is an opportunity for you to be creative and enjoy some special dances – we invite you to please, express yourself through your dress, through your dancing, enjoy the music and your partner, make something fun and meaningful out of every step! Come in jeans, come in a bias-cut dress, but come ready for a festive night and lovely dancing! And, if you promise to mind the line of dance, we promise short announcements and good food. ;)
